Week 9

1. Gmod

On Sunday I got this really fun game on the computer called Gmod / Garry's Mod. Yesterday Oscar came over to my house and we played Gmod together, but we couldn't join up for some strange reason.

2. Pet Egg

On Tuesday there was this thing where you had to draw a face on an egg and bring it to school as a pet. I didn't compete in it but lots of other kids did.



3. Media

We started practising filing in the Media tech group. It was about this boy who entered a old house and then timewarped to 1856. When he landed on the ground, he heard 2 men talking. One man stole another mans mining lisence. Then he gave the other man a treasure map. We are just practising the part where a girl finds a boy holding the mans mining lisence.

Week 8

1. Global warming

This week I was listening to an Inquiry about global warming. We saw this photo of what it looked like in 1998 and 2066. 1998 was normal, but 2066 was all burnt.



2. Prezi

Today I got this new thing called Prezi. It is a little bit like Google Presentation, but a little bit different. I had to do one about Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Mount Everest.



3. My sign name.

Yesterday I finally got my sign name. Here's how it go's:

1. Make a C with your right hand.

2. Pull it up to the left side of your forehead.

3. Then slowly swipe your thumb across your forehead to the other side.

4. You are done! 😀😃😊

Week 7

1. Inquiry 2

This week I finally finished my Inquiry on 'Why were Horror Movies invented?' Now I started a new one with Louie. We are both doing different questions but we are doing it in the same presentation.

Louie is doing: When and Why rules were invented?

I am doing: Why are cats scared of cucumbers?

2. Sir Edmund Hillary

This week I learned a few things about Sir Edmund Hillary. Here are some things I learned:

1. Hillary wasn't alone when he reached the top. He reached the top with Tenzing Norgay.
2. Hillary took over 16 days to reach the summit.
3. Hillary was born in New Zealand



3.  Speakit

Yesterday, I got this new extension called Speakit. If a sentence is too long to read. Just highlight it, then click on the extension and it will speak.

Week 6

1. Media

Today I started to learn how to film using media. I don't know what we are supposed to be doing yet, but soon I should know. I think we do it for Peak TV.



2. TF2

During the week, my friend Oscar has been telling me about a game called Team Fortress 2, or TF2 for short. It is a game where you can be a variety of different soldiers to fight the enemy team. My favorite soldier is the Pyro. He is a man holding a flamethrower, a fire ax and a shotgun. Under the mask he wears, he doesn't see war. Instead, he see's a world of magic. Where all of the soldiers look like babies. In his vision, it looks like he is being nice, but in reality, he is murdering everyone.

3. Maori Fruits

On the 8th of March, we played a game where we had to guess what the fruits were called in Maori.

Week 5

1. Music

Back in week 4, I learned how to do the D note and the A7 note on a guitar. It is quite tricky, but I am starting to get the hang of it.

2. Grammarly

Today I got this Extension that will correct every spelling mistake I'll make. You can download it for free in the chrome Webstore.

3. Writing

For writing, I had to write a horror story. It is called Eyeless. It was about a Creepypasta named Eyeless Jack.
