Week 11

1. Inquiry 3

I shared my inquiry with the class and I started another one! This time I am doing it with my friend Oscar. We are doing 'Are UFO's Real?' It's going good so far, but I don't think we will be able to share it though...



2. Timeline

Last week we had to do a timeline of NZ events that happened either recently or long ago. My favorite one was the Gastro Bug.



3. Assembly

Yesterday we had a Hillary house assembly. While we were there, we got to do a Kahoot about ANZAC day. I wasn't doing very well, so I quit.



My new learning this week: Order of Operations

Example: If you got a question like 3x7+2=???
As shown in the photo below, if there is a timetable in it, you start with that!
3x7=21
21+2=23
3x7+2=23

Week 10

1. Art

Yesterday we started some art. First, we used crayons and made lots of random shapes. Then we painted the entire picture black. Next, we are going to use a stick and scratch the black paint so it looks like a tiki.

2. The Duck Game

On Sunday, we got this really fun game called The Duck Game. It's this game where you play as a duck and you gotta grab weapons and kill the other ducks.



3. My Mind

Yesterday the class was listening to Mrs. August about people's emotions. She started talking to me about my imagination. She said I could keep all of my anger in just by thinking about stuff. For an example, when my brother Logan was really angry at me and was shouting at me, I didn't hear a word he said because I was busy in my imagination. So basically I was ignoring him. My imagination is fun! How big is your imagination?
